ENEMY LAUGHING; CALLING YOU A FOOL?

Joshua was promised Jericho, but first he had to walk through a process of obedience.

DAY 1 – Get the people to march around the wall

DAY 2 – Get the people to march around the wall

DAY 3 – Get the people to march around the wall

DAY 4 – Get the people to march around the wall

DAY 5 – Get the people to march around the wall

DAY 6 – Get the people to march around the wall

If this act of obedience was required of you, would you be feeling a little foolish by now?

• Marching before your enemy day after day with no sign of anything happening
• Having to walk out a word from God where the test of time is the only possible action of faith
• Feeling how enclosed and vulnerable a wilderness experience can be
• Opposition looking down on you, laughing at you, sowing seeds of doubt in your mind…

And what would the enemy be saying?

• “Look at those bunch of idiots. Shame, nothing is happening. Go home, retreat to Egypt. You heard wrong. You’re a failure. Did God really say? God won’t come through for you! …”

HOWEVER, regardless of what you may be feeling through the process, when you trust in the LORD, and do exactly what He says, you WILL get the victory!

DAY 7:

• “It came to pass on the seventh day that they rose early, about the dawning of the day, and marched around the city seven times in the same manner. On that day only they marched around the city seven times. ¹⁶ And the seventh time it happened, when the priests blew the trumpets, that Joshua said to the people: ‘Shout, for the Lord has given you the city!’” (Joshua 6:15-16)

• “So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat. Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city” (Joshua 6:20).

WHO’S LAUGHING NOW?

I don’t know what day you’re on right now, but I can tell you one thing is certain… if you are walking in obedience, your DAY 7 will eventually come to pass. You will see the victory of the LORD!

GOD’S WILL, WALKED OUT GOD’S WAY, THROUGH OBEDIENCE, WILL BRING GOD’S RESULTS!

•  “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; ⁶ In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6)

• “For the Scripture says, ‘Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame’” (Romans 10:11).
