“But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me” (1 Corinthians 15:10).
Shaun Hickey encountered Jesus Christ and received a prophetic vision which laid the foundation for his new life going forward: “There is going to be a move of My Spirit, and then the end will come. It is up to the people to get on board or they will be left behind.”
Through the baptism in the Holy Spirit, Shaun was powerfully anointed to preach the word of God and minister through the gifts of the Holy Spirit, where many miraculous healings have taken place and lives impacted through Christ.
After several years of evangelism and equipping the saints, Shaun then had a deeper encounter with the Holy Spirit where he received a prophetic word that turned his life upside down: “God is going to cleanse you of everything you have ever done, and then He is going to fill you with ‘high octane’ power and fire; and nothing by any means will hold you back.”
God tested Shaun’s heart towards receiving the fruit of this prophetic word, and after many months of self-denial and prayer, Shaun encountered the fire of God and then led through a gruelling, yet sanctifying baptism of fire that cleansed him of every weight that held him captive. Everything in Shaun’s life was put through the furnace of Holy Spirit fire where he was refined and deeply purged over a five/six-year period.
“For You, O God, have tested us; You have refined us as silver is refined. You brought us into the net; You laid affliction on our backs. You have caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water; but You brought us out to rich fulfilment” (Psalm 66:10-12).
Through this fiery transformation and conviction to truth, Shaun now carries the word of God in his heart like a burning fire shut up in his bones, and has been thoroughly equipped and empowered by the Holy Spirit to effectively teach and release the sanctifying fire of God; bringing revival, breakthrough and liberty to the nations for Christ.
As an evangelist carrying the call of revival, Shaun has a heart for:
- People to encounter Jesus Christ through the power and fire of the Holy Spirit
- People to receive Jesus’ miracle healing and liberation
- To equip and empower people through the word of God and Holy Spirit ministry
- To be a mouthpiece for God, and a vessel of revival fire to a complacent and carnal world.
