“He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins”
(Colossians 1:13-14 – NKJV)
This is one of my most favourite Scriptures. It is filled with Kingdom truth, and clearly states the powerful key that brought destruction to the kingdom of darkness – Redemption through His blood!
Colossians 1:13-14 tells us we have:
- Been delivered from the power of darkness
- Been conveyed (transferred) into the kingdom of Jesus Christ (the Son of His love)
- Received redemption through the blood of Jesus Christ
- Received forgiveness of sins
When used as a weapon of warfare (ref. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5), this Scripture can bring down the strongholds and principalities fighting to keep you locked in spiritual darkness and captivity. Because there is Power in the blood of Jesus Christ! Continued…
